Drawn from Thorn House, located close to Leicester Square. In 1958 it was the tallest building in the West End. The viewpoint looks south along Upper St Martin’s Lane towards Trafalgar Square. To the left, in the mid distance, the Shell Centre. To the right of Trafalgar Square is Victoria with New Zealand House, on the Haymarket, under construction in the middle distance.
